I suppose I better put something here to replace the generic “About” text that came with the site.
People that hear me sing seldom know my real name. The folks that attend Science Fiction conventions and filksings generally know me as Scruffy. SCA folks know me as Ciann (incorrectly pronounced like Shawn, durn those heralds,) or Ciann the Minstrel. EQ2 people know me as Crafty but very few of those have heard me sing.
Currently I live in Longwood, Florida, a little north of Orlando. (Kingdom of Trimaris)
Single with four cats (that’s a long story.)
I’m a Computer Programmer for a school district though my degree is in Theater. (An even longer story.)
Much of my free time is spent playing EQ2 on Butcherblock server.

Had the pleasure of hearing you at Castlewars…you serenaded us under our pavillion…I’m the one that asked you about coming to Golden Lily. I didn’t realize you were so far away, so if you can’t make it that’s completely understandable. I used to play EQ2!!! Haven’t played in about 2 years…life has gotten in the way. We enjoyed your singing and hope to see you again!

Thank you so much for the pleasant songs that you have provided for the Re Sword Company at all of the events recently. If possible, I would like to get the Lyrics for the Song of the Free Company. I know that it might be know as a different title but you always sing it for the company.

i.m guessing that the picture at the top is part of a giananni twelve string guitar. i had one once and should have kept it. they are a bit roughly made but the wood used was absolutely top notch.
